outdoor photography of children
Is there a "stay in mothers and housewives" photo club around?
I am a stay at home mom of 2. and my husband works all kinds of crazy hours at work. We live about ten hours, from friends and family so Im pretty much alone here so any help with children (nannies family and such). I'm trying to get a professional portrait photography outdoors. It just takes so long when you can not put it on top of its list of priorities. I guess I'm looking for an online group of people who are in similar situations. For support, advice and so on … If someone there knows to that place .. Please let me know.
I am a working mother in a situation similar to yours (my family is in France, I am in Ireland) … Hubby a musician / director, for the same here, erratic work hours. It is very difficult to always find the time to go out on my own to take pictures but I have decided I'll try, you might even manage to take (more of) a nightcourse after Christmas. I try to practice a little when monitoring the outside, the time kiddies permits, it is not easy trying to make things right in my 20 month old is eating the ground behind me, or pulling the legs of the tripod (or pants:). Anyway I'm saying is that if there was a "busy moms" group of fans at Flickr, I would join her for the support and advice. We could save the another long time to find out about one thing or the other. But it would be aimed at professional, in my case at all, and I do not know of anything just yet. I saw a group arts, not only photography, but the poor mother is alone, what if we all join? I will go for it, I hope to meet you there:) I am Mountainsandheather on Flickr.
