The enlargement of the images taken with a digital camera at home?
I'm hoping to get a photo of my children over my fireplace. I want one 20×24 black and white. I called a few studies and am looking at more than $ 100 unframed. I wondered if I took a picture at home and took it to be expanded and changed to black and white in a place like Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Sam's Club, etc. would be good? Or was it totally out of focus and blurry? I understand how to take a photo in focus, but the concern I would enlarement me a lot of the resolution making the picture look blurry and out of focus. In addition, many of the images taken by "professionals" does not seem so great. If you have suggestions for a place to go in Rockford, IL, that does not overload me and a great picture, please let me know.
If you have a digital SLR camera should have no problem blowing up an image to size. With a point and shoot, it is likely to see well at all. There is much noise in most point and shoot cameras.
